OVERVIEW:

I wrote, designed and built this landing page which offers a free report to visitors who opt-in by entering their name and email address.

62.8% of people that have visited this page have opted-in and it has generated 93 leads.

You'll see in the screenshot that I also ran an A/B split test. My control version of the landing page converted opt-ins at 65.9% and the test version only converted at 42.1%. This is a huge variation in performance, which demonstrates the power of testing and the power of copywriting. I shut down all traffic to the test version once we reached a 95% confidence level, which is the minimum level that indicates your test results are statistically significant, and thereby can be relied upon to make a sound business decision.
